About Wendy
An established career. A growing business. A founder’s perspective.
I’m Wendy Pilch — Founder and CEO of Style To Cart, an award-winning wardrobe stylist, and an elementary educator and administrator for 27 years as of September 2026.
My education and styling careers have overlapped. For more than 20 years, I’ve built a wardrobe-styling business alongside my established career in education, learning directly from women, their wardrobes and their everyday decisions.
Today, I’m turning that experience into fashion technology. I understood the customer long before I began building the technology.

Where It Started
I didn’t start my career in fashion.
I started as an elementary educator and went on to become an administrator.
Alongside that established career, I began styling clients and building a business of my own. What started small quickly showed me how much I loved helping women solve a very different kind of problem: opening a closet full of clothes and figuring out how to make it actually work.
I learned that great personal style wasn’t about convincing someone to become someone else. It was about understanding the woman in front of me — her lifestyle, her preferences, her schedule and how she wanted to feel when she got dressed.
As my client base grew, so did the business. Education and styling continued in parallel, each strengthening how I listened, communicated and helped people move forward.
“Great personal style isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about making your wardrobe feel more like you.”
The Stylist Years
More than 20 years of getting to know women — and their wardrobes.
Over the next two decades, I built my career as a wardrobe stylist, working with women at different stages of their lives and careers. My clients have included professional women, executives, busy mothers, public-facing professionals and on-air personalities.
My job wasn’t simply to find beautiful clothes. I would assess what a client already owned, identify the pieces that were missing, shop strategically to fill those gaps and then create looks she could easily replicate herself.
I wanted my clients to leave our time together not only with a better wardrobe, but with a better understanding of their own personal style.

A Career In Style
Style became more than a business.
Over the course of my styling career, my work and fashion expertise have extended beyond private clients to television, magazines, newspapers and other media opportunities.
Those experiences gave me the opportunity to talk about fashion with a larger audience, but the questions women asked me remained remarkably consistent.

From Stylist To Founder
Could I take what I do for one woman and make it available to thousands?
After years of working one-on-one with clients, I kept coming back to the same idea. The value of a personal stylist isn’t simply knowing what’s fashionable — it’s remembering the woman. I began wondering whether technology could help with that, not by replacing personal style with an algorithm, but by making thoughtful wardrobe guidance more accessible.
Today, I’m the Founder and CEO of Style To Cart, a fashion-technology platform I’m building to help women connect shopping, wardrobe organization and outfit planning. My perspective as a founder began with years of listening to what women actually needed.
“Could technology bring some of the experience of having a personal stylist to every woman’s closet?”
What I Believe
A great wardrobe should make life easier.
Style Is Personal
The best wardrobe reflects the woman wearing it — not simply what's trending.
Shop With Intention
The right purchase should add possibilities to your wardrobe, not simply another piece of clothing.
Make Your Clothes Work Harder
A strong wardrobe creates multiple outfits from pieces you already love.
Confidence Comes From Clarity
Knowing what works for you makes getting dressed — and shopping — easier.
The next chapter is just beginning.
After two decades in personal styling, I’m excited about what happens when experience, personal style and technology come together.
